If you want to experience the depressing slices of life
that pop-up in our collective faces, then read newspapers, personality and
news magazines, watch TV. This life as we know it is short...for some of us
it's shorter than we want or thought it would be. So I try to enjoy
everyday, and I have. I laugh out loud. I smile at strangers when I pass
them. I leave divisiveness to the politicians and the ego driven. I never
honk my horn in anger.
I waited over 60 years to start my writing career...it's a
whole lot of fun. And I hope that feeling comes through with my writing. My
characters are often zany...frequently quirky...realistically
bungling....and they're often surprised at how easy it is to screw up. But,
they avoid tragedy, move on to live, laugh and screw-up another day.
At this point I'm a Free Lance Writer. Isn't that a great
term?
It categorizes those of us who write but haven't yet
published "The Book." Once that happens, you get to be an "Author." But for
now, I'm deliciously happy as I wave my lance freely for all to see, Free
Lancing and sending materials to all possible outlets.
I have three manuscripts in progress...final stages...all
very different. I also have a personal website in progress. When you start
late, it seems everything's "In progress." Keep checking here for
a direct link when my
site is up. EDUCATION:
