Can you introduce yourself in a few words?

I was raised in a small New England village inhabited by many old generation Yankees and a smaller number of Finnish immigrants and their families.

That was rather short, is there anything else you'd like to add?

No, that should tell you everything you need to know.

What is your current career job?

Retired. But occasionally I write for fun. There is no real money in it so it's a good job for retired people especially if you have a stable monthly income.

What competencies allow you to succeed in your current function?

Many decades of life experience. Plus years of writing annual Christmas letters to friends and family with the challenge of never mentioning the children's achievements or the hilarious antics of any family pets.

What are your main challenges or priorities for the foreseeable future?

Continuing to provide interesting and/or amusing stories for my fellow writers to enjoy. Hopefully for a few others as well. Especially for those who do not own a TV. Or can't get out to the movies.

What are you personally most proud of?

Managing to raise two children to successful adulthood in spite of having no previous experience or education in this particular field. Plus a couple of things I have written.

What are your hobbies?

Writing of course. Also, collecting any type of puppet or ventriloquist dummy plus plastic picnic plates and cups from the 1950's, especially in the avocado color. I also search endlessly for Victorian ladies' pocket knives, with or without inscriptions or engravings.
